The resent headlines around the collection by the NSA of “telephony metada” is a direct result of the inhibitions and restrictions  imposed on a national security apparatus by progressives inability to condone the profiling required to efficiently identify security threats by Islamist terrorists.

In an effort that has resulted in extreme political correctness across all strata of our government and broader society we have erred to the point of facilitating terrorism through our unwillingness to focus our security resources on the few logical proponents of such acts at the expense of our broader personal freedoms and right to privacy.

Political correctness has accelerated under the progressive Obama administration as evidenced by a white house ruling cabal that expresses their lack of knowledge to the administrations encroachment on our freedoms and then when the secrets become visible attempt to limit their impact for “national security” reasons.

Four years ago I wrote about the threat of progressive fascism as represented by Barack Obama and his administration. Four years later we see an administration that has continued to propagate their progressive push toward the elimination of our most basic freedoms.

It is time to recognize that our politically correct, overly sanitized society is contributing to not only the erosion of our individual freedoms but is resulting in a potentially homogeneous  citizenry in which a government bureaucracy stifles the very spirit that launched this nation on its path toward freedom nearly 250 years ago.

It may be politically incorrect to profile young muslim males when we are at the airport, train station, or numerous other public venues. But ask yourself does it make sense to eliminate the privacy of hundreds of millions of our citizens to maintain the ;political correctness required to protect the rights of  a few young muslim, generally males who have no goal other than to destroy you and your way of life.

It comes as no surprise that the Obama led attack on Mitt Romney’s experience at Bain Capital is embraced by a broad democratic electorate that fails to understand that the very foundation upon which there freedoms rest is built upon the most basic of economic principles. The desire to profit from ones economic activity.

Were Mit Romney to have poorly executed his responsibilities at Bain it is highly unlikely he would be the presumptive Republican party candidate for President nor would he ever have been sought out to salvage the 2002 Winter Olympics, nor is it likely he would have been elected Governor of Massachusetts.

Today in this campaign his success is also his great burden. It is unfortunate that a burgeoning number of voters fail to understand the importance of balancing political bravado with real world economic experience.

The country has lived through the arrogance of a President who does not hold the same belief in the free enterprise system as those leaders who have preceded him. The man who was once hailed as an oracle of hope and change has through his ineptitude given rise to an economic malaise that threatens the promise of the American economic dream and portends the continued erosion of economic hope for millions of Americans.

Would that voters pause and reflect at the ballot box the importance of experience in value creation versus what is now the tired rhetoric of self as espoused by a man who rode the desire for change from so many who are unable to distinguish profit from prophet.

In an unusual display of humility, President Barack Obama has elected to decline the once prestigious Nobel Peace Prize. The President, recognizing that he has not accomplished any thing in his first thirty seven weeks as President that would warrant receiving this award is expected to thank the Nobel committee for their intentions and magnanimity in presenting the award to him, but will ask them to select an individual  more deserving of this accolade.

The President and his closest advisors recognise the absurdity of being granted the Peace prize on the basis of a few well presented speeches. They believe that the award would be better received by the American public were he to actually earn the award with a body of work that were to yield results that indeed led to peaceful solutions in areas of conflict.

In what is seen as a clear case of celebrity adulation and a desire to have the frequently touring Obama visit Norway, the Nobel committee,  selected Obama in an attempt to provide additional support for a President that has been apologising to the world for America’s past actions.  Though the President’s popularity has continued to erode at home he is extremely popular in other nations around the Globe that applaud his attempts to transform America with a progressive agenda that will result in diminishing America’s influence around the world.

Though we disagree with this President’s agenda and his fervent effort to transform America to a Eurotopian state we support him in his decision to refute the Nobel committee and his ability to subvert what has previously appeared to be an over whelming ego that would yield to the seductive nature of this Prize and one that he would surelycovet as he sits upon Mount Obama and supports the world with his pontifical rhetoric.

Barack Obama has squandered his previously high favorability ratings in the polls by failing to recognize that despite the heavily biased liberal media, Americans as a whole tend toward the center rather than the left in matters that directly affect their quality of life. The progressive agenda that the Obama administration has embraced is not the change that most Americans who voted for Obama were expecing. Rather, they believed the candidate Obama who repeatedly vowed during the campaign to seek bipartisanship solutions to issues that had long run aground in the muck that is Washington.

Voters wanted to believe that this President would rise above the noise of special interests that currently chair the political symphony in Congress and the White House but that belief was quickly tested and obliterated when the President urged Congress to push through the American Recovery Act, the inaptly named stimulus package that proved to be filled with entitlements to special interest groups and an homage in particular to the unions that supported the Obama campaign and were in line for their pay off.

The American public has lost confidence in this President as they finally come to terms with the fact that Barack Obama though an excellent campaigner does not possess the credentials or experience to be President. His lack of executive experience combined with a limited legislative career in the Senate has resulted in an Administration in which the President has ceded governing to a Democrat controlled Congress and a group of czars that are neither elected officials nor do they require confirmation by Congress.

The latest Rasmussen Poll indicates that only 46% of likely voters approve of the performance of the President. Barack Obama has squandered political capital that was generated by the public’s desire for change from the Bush Administration. They were even willing to reset some American ideals for a leader that was willing to govern for the people not the special interests. This President is not this leader.

The Obama administration will limp through the remainder of this year and into 2010 where a disappointed electorate will vote for change that will result in a more balanced Congress that will more accurately reflect the will of an America that believes in free enterprise, freedom of speech and the entrepreneurial spirit.

Barack Obama and his administration are far too progressive for this nation, that is rooted in the principles of individualism. The willingness of President Obama to expand the scale and scope of government at the expense of individual choice and freedom has resulted in a back lash that will continue through his term and limit Obama to a single term. America will continue to turn toward the center for solutions and reject the Eurotopian dream of this inexperienced President.

It is a great irony that Barack Obama, who is a true believer in his ability to guide and direct the American people to the progressive promise land of his vision is seeing his vision and agenda for America derailed by the very people he is dedicated to helping whether or not they are aware of their need for his help.

One of the great pillars of the progressive fascism is that the progressives know what the American public need and those who would oppose such help are perceived as imbecilic in the minds of the progressive stalwarts and their supreme leader Barack Obama. The President who ran on a campaign platform of hope and change has resorted to extreme partisan politics as he attempts to divert the debate away from health care reform which is rapidly losing support among the public, to a debate about the publics’ right to debate.

The Obama administration, in what appears to be nothing less than Orwellian, is asking Americans to spy on each other  by monitoring the media, including the Internet, to alert the White House to any postings or reporting on the President’s effort to enact health care reform,  that may be perceived as “fishy” . This is clearly a request of historic proportion and illuminates the agenda of the Obama administration and the fear that exists within the oval office that the public is unwilling to accept what they so desperately need the leadership of Barack Obama.

Obama and his handlers have developed a propaganda organization that exceeds anything America has ever seen and in fact rivals the best efforts of Germany in the 1930’s. However, the American public is becoming increasingly aware of the misrepresentations of the Obama administration and their passion for control over the social, cultural and economic fabric of our nation. This latest action by the White House in which they are accusing attendees at various Congressional town hall meetings around the country of being shills for the Republican Party is reflective of the elitism indigenous to the Obama administration.

President Obama believes he was elected with a mandate to lead the American public through a political transformation that would result in an America that in time will more fully resemble a European socialist state. It should have come as no surprise to the electorate that Obama and his progressive cult of admirers would accelerate the nation along the path of socialism. However, as the fog of the spell that was cast upon America by the Liberal media who overwhelmingly supported Barack Obama begins to clear,  America has awakened to the fact that Obama and his policies will destroy the best that remains of America.

America is turning its back on Barack Obama and a Democratic controlled Congress that replete with progressive talking points has failed to respect the ability of the public to recognize a shill when they see one.

The American public is awakening to the health care reform scam that Barack Obama and a subservient Democratic Congress are attempting to impose on a nation that does not want the change Barack Obama and his elitist progressive administration are determined to enact.

The public is speaking out across the country and saying no to Obamacare and serving notice to Congress that its members will be held accountable for the decisions they have made to date as well as in the future. Members of Congress are continually campaigning and with the  2010 elections only fifteen months away those with an eye on reelection will be listening to their constituents during the August recess.

The voices they hear will unnerve them. The American public in what happens once in a generation, if at all ,wants to be included in the decision process that takes place in Washington. Their voices will be heard at gatherings all across the land. They want entry into the elitist halls of government where special interest groups have placed a stranglehold on Congress and the Administration to further a progressive agenda that will bankrupt our nation’s spirit as well as our economy. In their zeal to transform this nation from an economy based on  free enterprise, broad individual freedoms and a limited role for government to a socialist nation, that will limit individual freedoms and expand the reach of government into every aspect of our lives.

Barack Obama has been slipping in the polls the past several weeks as Americans become disenchanted with his policies. As his favorability rating weakens in the polls it has provided an inverse reaction on Wall Street. As CEO4ADAY predicted in a blog on July 14th, Obama’s decline in the polls would ignite a rally on Wall Street as investors gained confidence that this, the most radical President to inhabit the White House, will fail in his quest to transform America into a Eurotopian socialist state.

The traditions of America consistently flow from the center. When the nation swings too far to the right or the left in an attempt to right an imbalance it eventually finds its way to the center or right of center. The cultural fabric of America has under gone vast changes over the past 233 years since the original 13 colonies declared their independence from the oppression and tyranny of a government that existed to be served by the people rather than a servant of the people.

Though our cultural fabric has changed through the years, the ideal that is  America as the benchmark for freedom, opportunity and a bulwark of  individualism has inspired the dreams of people through out the world. The administration of Barack Obama has a vision for a new America. An America that does not stand apart as a beacon of freedom in the world or a model of  free enterprise but rather exists to serve as a model for the world of a nation that views the quest for moderation as the American dream.  An America in which individual choices and freedoms are secondary to the greater will of the people as determined by an elite political class in Washington.

Americans are rejecting the vision of America offered by Barack Obama and promoted in Congress by Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid.  They are again speaking out for individual freedoms. The voices of Americans through out the land have been uncorked and will not return to an easy quiet until the center is firm.

According to the Rasmussen Daily tracking Poll, for the first time since Barack Obama assumed the Office of the President, more Americans that are likely voters disapprove  than currently approve of the President’s performance.

The president has been in a campaign mode since his inauguration, as he rushed a stimulus bill through Congress, that is increasingly perceived as reckless legislation, continues to promote a cap and trade tax and is attempting to burden Americans with a government controlled health care plan.

In addition, he has taken the campaign Global as he completed apology tours through out Europe, Latin America and the Middle East. Most recently he has created a political controversy by wading into the deep waters of racial politics by weighing in on the arrest of his ‘friend” Skip Gates a Harvard Professor by a Cambridge Police Sergeant. Gates decided that the officer was being racist and Obama referred to the actions by the Cambridge police as “stupidly”.

The public  have been inundated with Obama in the  media and may now be withdrawing from the Obama euphoria created by the media as they hold the President accountable for governing as opposed to campaigning. This President’s lack of experience did not serve as an editor over his ego and as such Obama launchedan aggressive progressive agenda with a blitz on Congress and the electorate not seen since the Battle of Britain. The blitz has failed and the polls are reflecting the desire by the public for the President to veeraway from his progressive agenda and his path to socialism. As has been the historical tendency in this nation Americans expect the President to move toward the center and govern accordingly.
